Looks like this is finally being released over here. Just as I ordered the US one for £14 on wowhd Still, this is good news for anyone waiting.

It's a great set and region free, this is good news it's getting a UK release. I'm surprised it didn't happen years ago. Wish we could get a decent UK box set release of the Halloween franchise.

That's good news, but the US set was half that price just recently and region free. So if anyone wanted this they should have jumped on the US one.

I’ve just bought the region free version from WOW HD for £14 but it’s good that this is finally getting a UK release.

I'm glad I managed to grab the US set from WOW in the sale. But I'm so glad it's finally getting a UK release. I wasn't sure it would have any time soon.

I'm happy with the OOP complete collection, though I've always been tempted to get the cheap one as a back-up.

The way things are going it'll be out before the one I ordered from WOW arrives. It was shipped on the 16th and there is still no sign of it.

That's weird. Mine was shipped on the 17th and it arrived on Wednesday. Yours should arrive any day now hopefully.

Presumably this set will include the UK Warner disc of the first film?

Weird seeing this so long after if it first came out. I got the nice tin case version when it came out but good to see this finally make it over here for people that don't import.

This set will be identical to the US and be region free too. It's why companies like Warner and Paramount don't region code their discs. Makes them easy to sell worldwide. Sometimes they do a different label but not always.

A real shame about the 3rd film. Having said that, the Shout version of Amityville 3 from the same period was a less than perfect "proper" 3D disc but anything would be better than the unwatchable anaglyph version

I’ve seen a few copies floating on eBay with the 3D glasses with the set. Maybe they were only included in the first pressing or something?

Look through this thread in the 3D forums.

Only 720 & side by side, but the 3D is great - even the opening titles are now in proper 3D.

Hopefully this means Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X will be getting blu releases soon to complete the collection.

Then all we would have to do is pray for a complete Halloween set.

Shame Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, Freddy vs Jason and Friday 13th reboot, got cut from this set really. It would have been nice for fans to have them included, like the tin case edition did.

Three of those films are by New Line which is basically Warner Bros.

The reboot is Paramount - unfortunately this 8 film set only has the Paramount movies, although I think the first one always had UK distribution by Warner and Paramount in the US.

Anyway, a great set which I also grabbed for £14 from Wow.
