Talking A Simple Twist of Fate (1994)

A Simple Twist of Fate (1994)

Quote:
Steve Martin (Father of the Bride) shines in this heartwarming movie about a single dad who discovers the joys and pain of fatherhood after adopting a daughter. All is well with this special relationship until a local politician attempts to come between them. As they fight to remain a family, the bond between father and daughter is strengthened. With an all-star cast that features winning performances from Gabriel Byrne (Miller’s Crossing), Stephen Baldwin (The Usual Suspects) and Catherine O’Hara (Home Alone), A Simple Twist of Fate is a captivating and moving drama. I didn't own the Mill Creek but as far as the transfer on the Kino I thought it looked pretty good.

I have a copy of the Kino that I have never seen. I had it shipped to an address in the U.S. but because of Covid-19 I have not been back to pick it up.

The Mill Creek release has two movies on one disc. It's a BD-50 but they only used 32.1 GB to encode both movies.

I haven't watched it yet.

ASTOF is a film I first seen on regular TV back in the day. I like it, but it's not a film I'm obsessed with. I cannot see myself DD for it. MC exists for that reason.
