i subscribe to both. i like home theater better. sound and vision is only 8 issues a year in case you didnt know. the only reason i renew my subscription to it is because they offered me a year for 7 bucks. otherwise i would have let it lapse.

Save your money. You get all the info you need on the web much faster, and more thorough than a mag. They are typically months behind on equipment and video reviews.

I have been a subscriber to Home theatre since 1996, and sound and vision since then as well when it was stereo review and audio review. When they come in the mail my wife says "your porn is here."

Just reupped to Sound and Vision for $6 a year. Subscribe to Home Theater as well. I like to get a lot of info on the intertubes but there's just something about having the print in your hands that makes it so much better.

I have sound and vision, but I prefer The Absolute Sound more. I am switching when by subscription runs out. You can go on their website and see every review they have done.

HAHA, You have no idea how happy I am to hear that I'm not the only one who does that. My wife and coworker think I'm weird for doing it.

Also check out :Electronic House."
