Default Netflix "Marianne"

Anybody seen this one? French horror series. I've not started it but am very intrigued by it.

Seen the first 4 episodes, I like it, it has a bit of "solving the mystery in a town where everybody got secrets", and the scares are delivered pretty good.

I've seen the first three episodes and I'm mixed on it. The lead is somewhat abrasive and overly silly, and the humor she brings is a really poor mix with the horror element.

I might force myself to the end, but I also kind of don't care.

Halfway through it. It has a lot of Stephen King tropes going on for a French mini-series; the protagonist is a writer, the small town and so on.

I just finished The Haunting of Hill Housewhich I absolutely loved. Saw this and decided to give it a try. I'm only through the first episode but I really didn't get pulled in at all. I'll definitely keep going though and hope it gets better. Like someone else said, the lead actress doesn't seem to fit the role.

I've started watching it, but with the original language with subtitles. The dubbing to me has always been awful. I'll just have to go back to it when it has my full attention. Can't watch q subtitled show and do something else at the same time. lol

Watched two episodes so far, and I'm finding it to drag a lot. There's so much tonal inconsistencies too. Like it wants to be a horror, mystery, adventure, and teen drama, which really doesn't work. Also, could they make the main character less likeable? There are some good creepy moments here and there, but even those are starting to feel repetitive. I do really like the seaside town setting, and the show has decent atmosphere when it decides to be a horror show. Anyway, I'll continue watching, and hope it picks up, and narrow its focus.

Watched the first 5 episodes so far. Easily one of the best horror shows in years. I would compare it to stuff like Haunting of Hill House, Dark, The Witch, Hereditary. So if you like those kinds of shows/movies then you will love this I think. It's fantastic!

I watched the first episode last night.

Been a long time since something actually freaked me out or scared me. This is great.

The actress playing Caroline's mother is just superb.
