Default Yamaha

Is the 563 basically the same as the 663 without the additional power and a few optical inputs? I am not looking for a 7.1 receiver, I am really wanting a 5.1 since I know I will not be needing a 7.1 until I move and that will not be for many a many years, so any tips on a 5.1 receiver for around the same price that I could benefit more on let me know.

Check Post #6 in this thread! Although they compare a different model, I beleive the same holds true for the comparison on yours.
