Viz/TPCI also don't have the rights to release movies 4, 5, 6 and 7 fyi. They have a Miramax release from years back on Blu-ray but it is pretty valuable, about $50 on eBay right now.

I’m aware, but I was more specifically asking about the rest of the movies for Unova and Kalos regions.

Do those movies even look good? Heard they suffered compression issues for being crammed onto 1 disc.

Can't say for certain, but knowing Viz Media, this set uses the exact same discs as the Steelbook. I can't see a reason for them to re-code the data onto discs for what is essentially a normalized version of the Steelbook.

The re-release does not use the same discs as the Steelbook. The Steelbook has 4 discs and the re-release has 2 discs, two movies per disc.

The steel-book version is 4 BD-25's, a single film on each disc. The standard release is 2 BD-50's, with one film on each layer.

Disc 1:
Layer 1 (Darkrai)
Layer 2 (Giratina)

Disc 2:
Layer 1 (Arceus)
Layer 2 (Zoroark)

Pokemon Black And White collection came out this week with literally no fanfare or anything at all. So much that I just found out a few minutes ago by random chance on Amazon. I will have my copy here Saturday so I can post further comments. 4 movies (well 3 really) across two BDs.

I got my copy on Monday but haven't opened it yet. I tend not to open my Blu-rays until I get around to watching them, which won't be for a long time with these Pokemon releases.

I just finished watching season 5 of the series and going to just watch the films up to where season 20 (Sun And Moon) starts. In fact I just watched Jirachi Wish Maker last night via the Miramax four movie BD (borrowed from a friend). Going to watch Destiny Deoxys tonight.

I watched the first 5 seasons as they released on DVD and then I kind of stopped watching. The first five are where my nostalgia lies and the other seasons are more of the collector in me wanting to own 'em all lol. I've watched a few episodes of the Advanced sets but not to completion.

I'd say we're guaranteed an XY/Kalos movie Blu-ray set sometime next year. Hoping we see Lucario and Manaphy get Blu-ray releases too.
