the artwork is not bad but all of these movies are getting sequels so i dont really see the point as im not sure they'll continue with the combined steelbooks

Like the artwork. This will be a nice addition to my Spider-Man steelbooks.

The Venom image is sweet, wish it were standalone.

This is the slobber-all-over-Blufans site. How did you miss out on that image on the Blufans steelbook?

Hard pass. Even if I liked the artwork, I'd need 4K.

Anyone surprised?

The moment they parted ways with Disney/Marvel, we all knew they were gonna start Sonying the f**k out of this. Making a collection with four movies from three different continuities is par the course.

Question is, when they inevitably screw up fubar, will they just reboot it again or swallow their pride and ask Disney to save them?

If not for that $71B Fox purchase, I would expect Disney to just outright buy the Spider-Man rights back for a few billion dollars. It would be worth it in the long run and it would prevent Sony from further damaging the Spidey brand with crappy content (Spider-Verse notwithstanding, though maybe they could let Sony keep the animated rights in exchange for the live action rights).
