I had a couple that were UK based that had not transferred to google play.

I dropped them an email and awaiting a response but I am not holding my breath.

UK Titles I noticed that did not port (that list might grow as I need to double check some other titles I not listed since I was not sure if they were UK or US).
GoldenEye
In Time
Person Of Interest Season 1
Matrix Reloaded, The
Matrix Revolutions, The
Rise Of The Planet of the Apes
War for the Planet of the Apes
Gotham Season 3

One I got a redeem code for but it failed:
San Andreas

One Miss Match:
Helix: Season 1 - Pilot Episode gave me bad Teacher Season 1

I actually imported the US Riddick Trilogy Collection but the UV code worked fine on my UK account.

This is the one I got.

If yours actually ported to google play I would like to know how.

When I went to migrate mine was not available.

I did have an odd one though. I got the Sony UK and Warner US digital copy release of blade runner 2049 on my account and I got migrate on both oddly especially when one is from the US.

The Breaking Bad thing seems a frequent problem. I hope they sort it out. I have 4 episodes of that that didn’t migrate (yet), and it’s quite annoying.

I’ve also read Batman the Animated series is being migrated as SD only

Anyone else got the Adam West Batman series (1-3) to migrate? Mine won’t.

I have about 15ish films out of 300 titles that wouldn’t migrate. Unacceptable IMHO, but it could have been worse I suppose. And of course we had to manually migrate every title individually... lol

Physical media FTW.

These wouldn't migrate, but are available to buy on Google Play:

The Book of Eli
Dallas Buyers Club
Django Unchained
The Hangover Part II
Star Trek Into Darkness
The Hurricane
The Wolverine

Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens (not on Google Play)

All my other titles have the migrate option.

If you click through to Customer Care, you're sent to a Warner Bros. site, but those titles aren't all from WB.

I couldn't do it through the Flixter Migration, like you say, it won't let you but all 3 unrated versions were already there on my Play account, so they must have linked over from Vudu, Movies Anywhere or UV account I guess.

Digital seems to be hit and miss with what links over to different accounts, especially when some are UK and some are US, non of my accounts has all my movies available.

Being in the UK, Google Movies is my most complete digital account now.

At a rough estimate they are currently ‘stealing’ around £100-worth of content from me through their own incompetence.

Thanks for that, movie industry!

So I have a Flixster UK library with a bunch of titles and I have made a Google Family Group in the US, have people who have transferred from their UK accounts been able to link to a US family group for sharing?

Bunch of my titles are still stuck on Flixster, especially the non MA Titles.

I'm migrating my titles 1 by 1. Some were dissapearing and the option to add to library wasn't showing up. I thought I'd lost them but they move to the bottom of the list and you can press Verify to redo it.

Only real issue I've had so far is I have the complete Series of Justified and Season 3 is split in to individual episodes instead of a complete box and episode 1 is missing. It's not under the unavailable on google play ones either.

Edit:

All done. Apart from the Justified issue everything worked. The ones I have left that are "not available in Google Play" are:
  • Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
  • Fast & Furious 6 (Which is somehow a duplicate the other of which worked)
  • Fringe Season 4
  • Fringe Season 5
  • Starship Troopers
  • The Wolverine
  • X-Men: Days of Future past

All of which ARE available on Google Play.

Is there an easy way to tell which of these are 4K? annoyingly my Google Play app on my Sony TV doesn't seem to support 4k.

Does not appear so, I think I need to convert my Google Play account over to a UK account for now or create a new UK Google account.

Looks like this migration might be an absolute disaster - migrating titles one by one? ..for those of us with a collection in the thousands that is gonna be a nightmare if it works at all.

Finally got both accounts to load. The majority of the titles were ported in from a US UV account originally ...so there's that to consider.

Migrate My Collection (2203)
Title available in Google Play - 404
Title not available in Google Play - 1799

Migrate My Collection (7009)
Title available in Google Play - 699
Title not available in Google Play - 6310

We have worked hard to ensure that as many Flixster Video titles as possible are available for migration, but unfortunately a relatively small number of titles will not be available.
- "relatively small number" my behind...

I had 35 films in Flixster UK, all of which ported across without issue (aside the slightly laborious mouse clicking required).

I have had mixed results - so at the moment I only have 797 movies showing that i have ever known. James Bond titles, Dads Army and other UK titles are not showing at all. I should have over 1600 titles. I can understand US redeems not being available but UK redeems not even showing as owned is ridiculous. Anyone else experience missing titles - ones that dont show at all but you know you own , rather than ones you can see but just wont migrate.

Of course for those of us that ultimately hope to integrate with a US Google Play Family Share the question becomes what is the best method.

Switch primary GP account over to UK for a year, then back, or create a whole new UK account and hope it can be connected to a US Family share.

Flixster have deleted all the comments on the question from the FAQ’s
I guess they didn’t like what everyone was saying...

I mean I knew I would have to have a UK Google account I just wanted to know if people were able to add a UK Google account to a Google Family group started in the US. I have the majority of my content on Vudu etc, I just wanted it on Google for ease of use since I find that service easier.

I wonder if this will become known in the digital collecting world as the "Great Flixster Video Cluster**** of 2019"?

The studios want to know how to kill digital video sales and steer people back to physical media? ...here's how it's done.

Ahh, OK... misunderstood what you were asking.

We have the same question then; however I'm currently working on getting a UK payment method so I can try to setup a UK Google Play account and try it.

I have tried and failed to connect a us Google play account to a UK family sharing group so my guess is it won't work the other way around either.

So it would require setting up a U.K. account and then converting to a U.S. account in a year.

Can both U.S. and U.K. accounts be loaded onto the same device at least at the same time at least?

Potentially - I don't know if it would mean any or all purchases would be taken away or not?
