Default Costco Proscan 32" LCD for $329.. Anybody used it?

How is it for a budget LCD? Back in the tube days Proscan's weren't bad at all but I've never viewed a proscan LCD.

All I can say is you get what you pay for most of the time. If this TV is for a guest room, kids room or some room that does not get regular viewing, it will probably do the trick.

Not much more than a play room tv for your kids...

I picked up a 26" Proscan at Sears a few years ago and it had a pretty good picture for the money. It was very sharp and black level was OK for an LCD...certainly not the best, but OK. The color saturation was better than the $1100 32" I had in my living room at the time. At that time I paid $650 for it and it was on sale. It didn't even have a hi-def tuner. It was good for the bedroom, but I've since sold it and moved my 42" LG into the bedroom. At that price I think it will be fine for a bedroom set or for the kids. You can do a lot worse than a Proscan IMO.

I have a 32" panny LCD for sale with a full stand mount that swivels, the works 5 bills. Spend a little more get a little more. I agree with the spare bedroom deal though.

Thanks for the feeback everybody. I'll probably continue to hold off. Hard going from my 60" 120hz 1080p set to currently using a 25" CRT SD set, lol
