I'm envious of those of you who get early shipping on things like this. No shipping notice for me, my card hasn't even been charged yet.
I think the only time I ever received a release early from any retailer was, ironically, last year's 2001: ASO from Amazon, which was delivered 3 days before the original, cancelled release date in October...

Design looks cool, but I’d honestly rather have the original theatrical poster on a steelbook.

Was on the fence about the cover of the steelbook but it has started to grow on me now. Would've liked to have seen some snow integrated in some how on the cover but oh well. I do like the color scheme they used but hey at the end of the day its about getting our favorite movies in the best way possible of watching. Looking forward to having the in hand. Hope everyone enjoys !!!

Just got my shipping notification. Of course I had it shipped to my work address, so if it arrives on Saturday I will have to make the 2 hr round trip from home to get it. It's The Shining, however, in glorious 4K. The trip will be worth it.

Both novels are brilliant! I'm very excited for Doctor Sleep. So glad that it's going to actually be a sequel to Kubrick's The Shining!

Mine arrived today looking like someone had tried to bend it in half (and with a huge gash in the spine on top of it). I wish BB would stop sending these things in these flimsy cardboard mailers that offer no real protection but I'm guessing that's asking too much.

Mine arrived with a small spine slash as well. A shame because otherwise, this is a good-looking set

I just returned it and the woman at the customer service counter laughed when I showed her steelbook. I went back and looked at my orders and of my last 10 BB steels only Godzilla arrived without damage (a good one to have mint, too). Casino was all scratched up but I did some repair work and honestly I just didn't care. The other had had dents, and such, and so I had to return/replace them.

Somehow I have an apartment full of Zavvi steels that all arrived mint and with no spine slashes but BB is one damaged steel after another. And, yet, I'll be there Tuesday morning to try and pick a clean one off the shelf...

Well, damn! Spine slash as well. Other than that, no dents thankfully. This is my third steel in the past few weeks that has come damaged in some manner.
