Default Dragon movies. I need more of them

I just finished watching Reign of Fire on Blu-ray and I liked it even more than the first two times I watched it.

Made me thirsty for more dragon movies.

So far I own:
Reign of Fire
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
How to Train Your Dragon 1 + 2
Pete's Dragon (2016)

I should get Dragonheart (a bit dated now) and Dragonslayer (whenever it comes on blu-ray)

EDIT: I forgot I own Beowulf as well

What other movies are there with believable dragons in them?

Yeah Eragon is underrated as far as Dragon movies go and the Dragon in it is seriously fantastic.

The Bruce Lee one is probably best. Doesn't Dragon heart have about 4 sequels now?

Dragon Wars: D-War (dumb but... fun-ish dumb)
I Am Dragon (I thought it was decent, better than Twilight, cool looking Dragon, don't watch the dub)

I agree, we need a lot more dragon movies.

I love Dragonslayer and Flight of Dragons

I also like Eragon, Harry Potter 4, The Hobbit, Shrek, Sucker Punch, Sleeping Beauty, and the How to Train your Dragon trilogy.

I used to like Dragonworld (1994) as a kid. I’m not sure how it would hold up for an adult. The full movie is on YouTube.

Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire (2017) isn’t bad for a direct to video sequel.

I'm with you on Reign of Fire. It's one of those movies that gets better after repeat viewings.

Check out Godzilla: King of the Monsters for a hell of a lot of dragon.

Not really specifically about dragons, but the recentish Chinese CG-animated film Ne Zha does feature dragons and it's surprisngly good!

I don't think it's ever been discussed in this forum, but it's a cracking little action adventure film drawing on Chinese myhtology. The trailer is basically just a collection of action beats, makes it look like your typical loud, empty, Chinese wu-xia-esque braindead action film, but it's more like a really fun Chinese How to Train Your Dragon (but no dragon training in this).

Lol, I literally saw Ne Zha this week and somehow forgot to put it in this thread(!) I liked it a lot too. It definitely counts I would say. The stuff
[Show spoiler]in the ‘painting-world’
was especially stunning, I thought.

Also I’d argue it’s a better ‘Hellboy’ movie than Hellboy (2019) was!

Oh, also, The Neverending Story’s Falkor is a Luck Dragon, even if he’s more like a flying dog... (no hate, one of my fave films...)

The dragon in Deathly Hallows Part 2 is pretty cool for the three minutes it’s on screen.

Me too! Love Dragons, especially Hagrid's from H.P. and The Hobbit film. Use to love all the Fantasy Art Calendars with em on it....A little out of context but I once read an Emperial Japanese manuscript that was a job request for two trained Dragon handlers to feed and maintain the Emperors Dragons which he intended to use In the Annual New Year parades...If I recall it was from the the 1600's ( might be wrong on the date as it's been like 15 years ago that I read it.) Also likely to be Komodo Dragons..but hey! You never know

Yeah that part of the film really is eyecatching, the action as well is really well choreographed, but much of the animated martials arts is so fast paced that it's easy to overlook that.

I never even thought about Hellboy as I watched it, but there are quite a lot of similarities. I would argue it's more like GDT's movie Hellboy than the comics though.
