Yes! I am only aware of them ever even meeting before face-to-face one time.

This is the first time that they've sat down and chatted for a professional, publicly released talk.

Will it be as bad as his interview with Paul Thomas Anderson where he just circlejerked Harvey Weinstein for most of the length and wouldn't let Paul speak?

LOL, no.

But there is a bit of that from each of them. I don't frankly see that all the yeah, yeah's and uh huh's needed to be transcribed, LOL.

Otherwise, especially later in the conversation, they both relay some great anecdotes.

Tangentially related: does anyone know anywhere there may be a transcript of some kind of Scorsese's conversation with Paul Thomas Anderson for There Will Be Blood in 2008 ish? I think it was with the DGA but I've never seen it published anywhere.
