same. i have to rent van wilder. still on my list of things to see. a bluray release moves it pretty far up the list though. anything blu gets priority now.

None for me this week. I still have not received Hogs and Lookout from Amazon. So much for the free shipping. I will pick up a couple of this week's titles when on sale.

Would like to buy The Lives Of Others,but will rent first to be sure. Rent perfect Stranger for Halle Berry only. Immortal Beloved the only buy this time.

The Lives of Others because quality film deserves to be supported and The Immortal Beloved because Gary Oldman can do no wrong. (Shoulda' been a collection with Sid & Nancy as the perfect Music Box Set).

Plus Shooter because I have to honour those claims about the PS3 demographic, providing HD-DVD folks some statistical evidence to verify their claim to better moral/aesthetic judgement.

I'm definintely getting Immortal Beloved. I used to have it on laserdisc and never got around to getting it on DVD when I sold of my ld collection.

Immortal Beloved and Lives of Others for me this week. Not only entertaining movies but truley 2 very good pieces of filmwork this week.
