Very strange that The Prince & the Showgirl isn't on Blu-ray. I wonder why. It's with Warner, and I could see WAC putting it out. I hope we see Ladies of the Chorus on disc too at some point, if only for historical/completion purposes. Those are the last two films Marilyn STARRED in that aren't on Blu-ray. Her roles in the other films not on Blu-ray are in minor or supporting roles, but they'd still be nice to have. Hometown Story was a staple of public domain DVDs solely because Marilyn is in the film... but she only has about a minute of screentime.

Also, Criterion has reissued Some Like it Hot, and have All About Eve in the works too. Don't Bother to Knock will also be included in Shout Factory's Anne Bancroft set.

The perfect time to have put "The Prince and the Showgirl" out on Blu-ray was when "My Week with Marilyn" came out. A total missed opportunity.

Two other movies (not starring MM but about her) that have never even seen a DVD release that I cross my fingers might one day be released unexpectedly are:
*"Marilyn" a 1963 documentary film starring Rock Hudson, and,
*"Marilyn: The Untold Story" which was a 1980 TV miniseries starring Catherine Hicks.
