Looks pretty good. But 200.00??? I mean, if I were a professional e-sports player or something, MAYBE. But I just don't get putting that much money into a controller! https://scufgaming.com/static/versio...overview-2.mp4 ![]() There's a Modern Warfare specific edition too. ![]() Last edited by Steelmaker; 10-13-2019 at 12:04 PM. |

Most of the components are alloy & rubber materials. The bumper buttons are the only thing they cheaped out on because they are plastic. No Scuf. They maybe drew inspiration in design of the paddles. I don’t use paddles on mine. My only issue is the next V2 model will likely not support PS4 through 3rd Party Adaptors. |

200 dollars from some third party maker, hell no.
It’s bad enough Sony wants 60 for their own controller |

I never liked my Elite, so I was very happy when Scuf announced a new Xbox One controller that wasn't based on it. Their old Xbox One controller (Infinity, I think) had been out of stock for a very long time.
The Prestige is a great controller and the 4PS Infinity PRO I have for my PS4 is definitely the best controller I've ever used. |

Fallout falls somewhere in between what I would use a normal controller for and what I would use my SCUFs for. I use trigger stops, but I don't feel like paddles are necessary. |

Maybe the Elite controller doesn't suffer from it but for all the talk about how the Xbox One controller is so much better than the DS4, I do find several things about the DS4 that I actually prefer. The one annoying thing about the X1 controller to me (and it's a pretty big one), is the "looseness" the analogue sticks have compared to the DS4. I've always preferred how much tighter the DS4 sticks are with less dead zone. Another small qualm I have with Xbox controllers is those rounded, hardened "jewel" face buttons. Overtime, those start to irritate my thumb, where the DS4's softer, flat buttons never do. Also, I will always prefer the DualShock D-pad over any other design. It's perfect AFAIC. I do love the motorized triggers on the X1 controller though. That's the one feature I wish the DS4 had and I'm so glad to know that the DS5 will be adopting some kind of iteration of that. I also like the weightiness of the X1 controller. I'm glad the DS5 also will be a little heavier. Last edited by Steelmaker; 10-13-2019 at 11:52 AM. |

I want to see how the Sony Dualshock 5 plays out as a base controller with all their new features before deciding how Sony should make their own Pro controllers. As good as an Elite V2 is, it won't have the haptic feedback and stuff. So it makes me want Sony to make a Pro version of their Dualshock 5 format.
I wouldn’t personally touch a Scuff based on their design layout and questionable reliability as numerous accounts online seem to attest. |

I switch between Xbox One & PS4 Controllers daily. I do prefer the flat facing buttons on PS4. Travel seems more smoother when doing button combos. On the flip, Xbox One have a rubber like texture to their buttons so you never lose your thumb placement in competitive gameplay. |

I’d personally just be happy if they made better thumb sticks. I customized a PS4 controller through a third party site & switched the sticks out for better ones & added grip texture to the back of the controller to see how much difference for the better it would be. Turns out, quite a bit. People who are happy with scuf are usually sponsored. They go through 2-3 a year, don’t pay a dime & come back to tell you how great their products are. ![]() |

i've never liked the design with the off-set joysticks...like on the xbox controllers. it's just uncomfortable, to me. i like the symmetry of the regular ps controller.
just a personal preference. i never could get used to that off-set setup. but i guess after playing with a ps controller for so many years, my hands are used to it and anything else seems weird. to each their own, though. some prefer that setup over the ps setup. |

The current Vantage is hot garbage, replaced it once, and the replacement has issues too. Horrible stick drift with cheap and barely functional trigger stops.
I may try the Astro C40, dunno. I agree with Derb, sponsored gamers don't need to pay for replacements, and are coerced/encouraged into liking and promoting them. |
