That really makes your panties moist to keep saying that huh? It's your interpretation and even if Wayne did do those bad things, HE DIDN'T SHOOT PEOPLE IN COLD BLOOD. But that's how it is now, people get off on twisting things.
I've seen memes like this floating around, basically saying these mentally ill murderers are giving people what they deserve. I hope no one in your life is ever gunned down, see if you still think they're the good guys. |

My vote goes to Joker.
And yes, I understand he's the hero of his own story (I hear this mantra so often now). This doesn't make him a hero by default. He made the conscious decision to cross moral boundaries to kill and incite violence. By definition, his actions make him villainous. I think Thanos is a great character (another hero of his own story), but I believe his best development occurred in Infinity War. |

Based on all the movies I went to see this year, of which too many were mainly reboots, remakes or sequels, I'd say the biggest villain to movies of 2019 was banality.
But I don't want to be that guy so I'll say the most 'interesting' villain of 2019 was the depiction of the Manson family in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood as a collection of numbwits and tools. I loved that. Phoenix's depiction of Joker as a happenstance loser who made it into a symbol of uprise was also interesting, but not really what I would call a great villain. Nor would I expect him to be, I mean this is the joker. His other colleagues are a penguin and a riddler and the list goes on. I'm curious to see what the rest of 2019 will bring. |
