Using the term "Director's Cut" on the cover is very misleading, Leone never approved a 251min cut (something between the 229min and the unreleased 269min cut, where both he did approve).

True. Some unhappy wording here, for which, however, Warner should be blamed.

The Italians just called it "Edizione Estesa" back in the 2012 when they first published it.
