Paramount re-releases to include e-movie cash, Same movie - Page 2 - Blu-ray Forum

i nearly lost it when i found out Paramount was re-releasing Event Horizon only five months after it's initial release. the PQ for that first BD kinda sucked, but from what i hear they're just re-releasing that same crappy disc with a movie ticket. Paramount really needs to get their act together before they put out all the forthcoming Star Trek BDs, because if they mess those up i'll never purchase Paramount blu-rays again.

A friend of mine pointed me towards this apparent re-release of Tropic Thunder occurring on May 5th.

Has anyone got further info on this?

An unrated version re-release? Dosen't make much sense to do that at this point, since the movie was just released a few months ago.

I JUST got it on blu-ray and my wishlist is a mile long, no way I'll be double dipping this movie.

You see, that's why I stopped buying movies; the studios always re-release the same movies after you buy the first copy. The only copy they'll get from me is a rental.
