My wife and I are watching. Pretty good so far, very similar in tone to Riverdale.

I have the first episodes recorded. Same with Riverdale just haven't gotten around to watching them yet.

Watched the first 6 episodes and enjoyed them but I just feel like I am too old to be watching this lol

Yeah, I'm old enough the be the father of any one of the young actors on the show. But I enjoy the show anyways,

I watched the whole season, but I found the supernatural part of the show to be corny. I wish they would have went with a more realistic approach, not with ghosts and indigenous spirits.

I also hoped that they went with the Sarah Shahi version that wasn't picked up a few years ago.

Finished the final 4 episodes of the season last night and I give it a 4.5/5

I really love the dark paranormal/occult vibe of the show and the twists during the season were unexpected. Can't wait to see season two!

Yeah, the supernatural stuff is uninteresting and the show is indistinguishable from other cw shows. The big turnoff is that this is Nancy Drew in name only. Just nothing like the originally conceived series. The major element missing being the close relationship between Nancy and her father. I'd rather she get involved in grounded crimes and not soap opera nonsense. Veronica Mars is close to being Nancy Drew which is possibly why they chose to widen the distance from the source.

Side note, I thought Pamela Sue Martin would appear again and help out with the spirit stuff.

Hope to eventually get the Blu-ray releases of the first two seasons of the Nancy Drew revival (see the thread in the North America sub-forum. A recent post in it was about a Blu-ray release of the third season, out in May). This may put some off, but it sounds like if you did decide to get the North American Blu-ray releases of Nancy Drew, it's very likely they'll be BD-R discs.

For those who still watch - the series finale airs tonight.

Hoping Paramount is able to put the complete series out on Blu-ray without any of that BD-R crap. Hell, WB doesn’t even use BD-R for their Archive sets, not even since they started putting Archive stuff on BD.

Also hoping for this. Pretty good finale for the short notice of being canceled. Will gladly pick up if they do it.

Whoa, this is still on?

I liked the first season, but tapped out part way through the second because it felt like it was getting repetitive, and I hated having to watch new ones through the CW app with it's 1990's internet download quality LOL.

Since I believe it goes to HBO Max now, I just may have to check back in with it.
