Someone mentioned this movie in another topic and I was like... WE NEED THIS on BLU!

I agree. I posted somewhere else too, I really like Brad Anderson films (Session 9, The Machinist, Happy Accidents, Transsiberian, etc).

Session 9 freaks me out. That location is freaky all by itself.

I agree... the setting makes this movie. Very moody, dark, tense... just a great atmosphere made by this flick!

This movie is an underrated horror masterpiece. It's story is very clever and original. From a Brad Anderson fan, I'd like to see this on BD at some point before I die.

I can't believe that they didn't release this when Vanishing on 7th Street came out.

This is one of those movies with bad cinematography, frankly should just stay on dvd.

I remember this had David Caruso in it. When the guy is listening to the tapes and you get that far off down the hall angle from the camera. Then you can see shadows moving through the room. Man, it sent a chill through me. Creepy as hell.

Haven't seen this one in awhile, but always found it great, even though it is disturbing.

Are you kidding me? They perfectly used the newer digital medium, and though it was cropped, seeing it in hd on broadcast tv was a huge boost.

Whether or not they used the newer digital medium, the shots were nicely planned and executed with many shots paying tribute to Kubrick. The lighting was also cleverly handled. This can look great on BD. I'd definitely buy it. I still have yet to see the movie with more than 2.0 audio, too and can only wonder how awesome this can sound too.
