Default Are you a fan of any movies with a lower than 5.0 IMDB rating?

So just a fun thread to start here & I know obviously IMDB isn’t the be all end all of movie ratings at all but I think any movie that’s under a 5 rating usually 99% of the time is way more disliked than liked.

Zombie's Halloween II is one of the greatest horror films I've ever seen.

I kind of dig 1999's The Haunting and Shyamalan's The Last Airbender, though they're not masterpieces in any way, shape, or form.

Going off of that, I really enjoy:

Dragonball Evolution (2009)

Batman & Robin (1997)

Mac and Me (1988)

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)

Teen Wolf Too (1987)

Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)

The Avengers (1998)

The Cat in the Hat (2003)

Can't tell you how much entertainment these movies have and still give me.

Off the top of my head, I can think of one, and I don't pretend in any way that it's a "good movie." I just enjoy it.

Spice World

Some of the comedy works, to be honest. And Victoria makes everything better.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch - 4.9 / my rating 9
Loaded ('94) 4.5 / my rating 7

There are others but most of them are of the so bad it's good variety, so I don't really fault the low scores

Ultimately, the only opinion that I care about regarding movies and TV shows is my own, not the ratings at imdb or anywhere else.

I haven't visited imdb since they removed the forums. I look at wikipedia instead. Couple of films that I like have been mentioned: Halloween 3 and Zombie's Halloween 2.

I enjoyed these from that IMDB link, though no need to buy them on bluray.

Feardotcom
Beverly Hills Chihuahua

Only ones I see rated below 5 on this site from my collection are these.

Day of the Dead 2008 - a lot of hate for this one, I love it though, probably watched it more than the original.
One Missed Call - good movie, reminds me of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Halloween Resurrection - it's fun, I can see why it gets hate though.
The Happening - fun disaster/end of the world type movie.

There are quite a few in 5.0-5.9 range but the only one I found that was below 5.0 is this:

Killing Gunther

It's such ridiculous fun but it's probably rated so low because Arnold Schwarzenegger is barely in it despite being listed as the star.
Apparently the trailer spoils a lot too, but I never watch trailers so that wasn't an issue for me.
