Going for ones that I didn't see mentioned much above:

American Ninja
Bad Boys
Best of the Best
Beverly Hills Cop (yeah, the third one is bad...)
Death Wish
Dirty Harry
Female Prisoner Scorpion
Infernal Affairs
In the Line of Duty
Jack Ryan (mainly Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games & Clear and Present Danger)
Kickboxer
Lone Wolf and Cub
The Man with No Name
Once Upon a Time in China
Sister Street Fighter
The Street Fighter
Walking Tall (only the 70s ones)
Zatoichi

I know a lot of these aren’t straightforward action but I’d still classify them as action franchises.

04] Lethal Weapon
05] Mission Impossible
06] John Wick

08] Rambo

I'll stop there-- other series mentioned here I don't consider to be "action" films (more like "adventure", "sci-fi", etc)

These are ranked according to my preference for them as action movies, not necessarily in order of overall quality. I would normally put Planet of the Apes and The Avengers much higher.

10. Indiana Jones
9. Jurassic Park/World
8. The Incredibles
7. Planet of the Apes
6. The Avengers
5. The Dark Knight Trilogy
4. Daniel Craig’s James Bond 007
3. Fast & Furious
2. Jason Bourne
1. Mission: Impossible
