Yes!!! I wonder if Heckerling will touch upon George Segals character being based on Harold Ramis. That’s such a crazy story.

Blind Date is one of the very few romantic comedies I'll watch, and it's CRIMINALLY underrated. Aside from the leads doing a great job in their roles, every side actor steals the show for whichever fewer scenes they have. Phil Hartman was MADE to play a sleazy used car salesman, John Larroquette constantly crashing into things was probably the inspiration for "Home Alone", and of course William Daniels is sarcasm/condescension incarnate. I was lucky enough to see this as a kid because my mom had it on a tape alongside Die Hard (so a Bruce Willis double feature) and it's only gotten funnier as I grew up. I was with my parents just this last weekend and as we were driving home, a James Brown song played on the radio. So of course I punched this up and gave my parents a good laugh:

Funny... I always thought of Hudson Hawk as more of a tragedy.

That's when you should've said "even better, she can rock my world and then buy us beer!" I always had a little thing for her too, I think everyone of certain age did.

I, uh...remember having a thing for Olympia Dukakis someone in these movies (Kirstie was cute but not old enough for me, yet).

And before anyone else posts it (0:40):

Yay! Bummer about the lack of any other features though.. this was a mega hit for Tristar they coulda at least included TV spots or anything promotional. Hope at least 2 gets put out as well.. 3's awful so I don't really need it but I always loved 2 as a kid.

Really? She wasn't that old then lol.. she so perfect for a solid 12 years, 1985-1997 or so she was hands down one of the sexiest women in Hollywood. Having her in anything was a steal. Shame she let it slip away.. still love her though she's one of my faves.

This was the pre-MILF era, when teenage boys only wanted to get with teenage girls.

Few things make me angrier than when a formerly-gorgeous celeb either lets themselves go to the point where they become a disgusting blob (Alley), or else starve themselves until they look like an anorexic twig (Jennifer Connelly) After Cheers ended, Alley took a sharp nosedive, and it's tragic.

Kirstie Alley was a hottie. Loved her in Summer School and Madhouse. I adored this movie as a kid. It’s nice that Sony is finally releasing it on blu ray. Now can we get a 20th Anniversary Edition of SLC Punk! Pleeeease?

Awesome! This was a favorite of mine as a kid and I often rented it from the grocery store (hey, that's where we rented movies then ). Really looking forward to this release!

Watch it again. It's easy to forget that this is a late 80's/early 90's pg-13 film and with that in mind is much more adult than you may remember. (This style of PG-13 film just doesn't seem to be made much anymore). It actually holds up remarkably well. My 6 year old daughter loves this one and likes the 2 sequels well enough (primarily because she loves babies) and the more adult humor makes it a fun watch as an adult.

On the topic of Summer School, it's a a total 80s classic. A lot of people probably don't know that it was co-written by Full House creator Jeff Franklin. He also was a writer for the screenplay of Just One of the Guys and obviously produced a lot of tv shows.

It's still pretty wild that a scene like this is in a PG-13 movie, even if it is in a 'comedic' context:

Agreed. I like the movie more now than I did as a kid.
