Default Apple introduces new talking Ipod Shuffle

Apple has just come out with a new talking 4GB Ipod Shuffle. If you push a button it will say the name of the song and artist that's currently playing. It looks kinda cool, still really small. It retails for $79.

Hah, that's crazy! I don't personally want one, but I love how Apple is always thinking. Always making something new and intuitive. I am an Apple junkie, but don't see a need for an uber thin mp3 player. My classic and iPhone do the job for me just fine. Cool idea though!

This would be awesome for the Ipod Touch! That way I can get one of those traslator app and help me learn a different language.

I'm agree with the Ipod touch needing a bigger HD. I'm down to 5GB left These digital copies with the BD are taking up a lot of space. lol.

I just read an article that states the remote for this Shuffle is on the headphone cord so you can't use headphones other than the included ones unless you don't want to be able to change the song and volume. I was considering this because I like using my Shuffle when I'm working in my lawn and it's only 1GB but this removes any chance of that.

Just in case you forget the name or the title or artist and can't recognize their voice . Typical Apple customers

This thing is getting TERRIBLE reviews. Apparently the headphones, besides being proprietary, are hard to use and unintuitive, using Morse code-like button patterns to move between songs and such. It's like Apple simplified it too much, and it's now hard to use.

Use a Sandisk Sansa Clip, save $50, and get radio, voice, and recording capabilities. I love my iPod and iPhone, but the Shuffle is a ripoff. I'm fine with a barebones tiny music player, but it should be CHEAPER, not more expensive, than the competition. And easy to use. At least the previous shuffle had that last part down.
