Odo was what kept me going through those first few seasons of DS9.

I was telling the Missus last night that it's been a pretty sh*tty week for Star Trek, and then comes news of Rene Auberjonois.

Stunned and upset by this news, Odo was an incredible character in my favourite TV show ever. I was browsing TV channels on Sunday and happened across an episode of Hart To Hart with Rene in.

I saw him at a couple of conventions. He was funny and very easy to talk with. Now I have to go home and watch some DS9 episodes.

Charlie X is my favourite episode of TOS, so I was very sad to hear the news that Robert Walker Jr. had passed away. I also had no idea that he was the son of Jennifer Jones until I read about his family history.

I met Mr. Auberjonois 3 different times at conventions and he was always the nicest guy. He will always be in the hearts of fans. The last time I saw him he signed this for me.

R.I.P to a great guy and wonderful actor.

I met Mr. Auberjonois at a convention, maybe eight or ten years ago. He was nice enough, but our exchange was very brief. This is a sad day for Trek fans, to be sure.

I remember Rene Auberjonois for his role on the sitcom, "Benson". He was a fine actor and comedian. RIP.

So sad to hear. Just watched King Kong '76...and how was he uncredited for his role of Colonel West in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country?

That one was written by Dorothy C Fontana. Special timing on that one!

He was not in the original theatrical version at all, just the extended/home video/Director's Cut/whatever they're calling it these days.

It's been a tough couple of weeks for the Trek community.
