PS5 is right around the corner releasing next year. If you can only afford one I’d wait since it’s supposed to be backwards compatible. If you can get both I recommend the following.

- NBA 2K series
- Super Mega Baseball 2
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Grand Theft Auto V
- The Jackbox series
- Everybody’s Golf

As the title states, I just bought a PS4. Telling me to wait and buy a PS5 instead makes no sense.

If you do get a WWE game, steer clear of 2K20. It’s horrible. 18 is alright. 19 is good.

Thanks. I haven't even looked. I just bought Fire Pro Wrestling World. Quite different and I like it.

Yes! It’s super different but a lot of fun. There’s a lot of customizable options. The issues with 2K20 are that their developer for years left and the new developer basically didn’t have what it takes - graphics are bad; gameplay is buggy.

Ps4 is a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Forget PS5 talk & look at the recommendations listed in the post, all of which are on the PS4 console.

The Uncharted and Last of Us franchises are what made the playstation for me, at least this gen. Still wish they'd port over Resistance from last gen. I'd love to play those again on the PS4, remastered or not.

These are great. Just what I wanted. I've got a couple of weeks off and I want to look into some of these games. I do have some that I'll be playing over the holidays.

red dead redemption 2 like the other have listed. you just need to be patience on the first chapter. its truly an amazing game. Makes you feel like you lived in the west with riding horses and other related stuff.

I enjoyed the first few hours. Lots of great build up & character development. With nice cinematic visuals.

I guess I’m the minority here as I keep seeing this recommendation on the opening to be patient.
