Last Christmas (2016) ![]() ![]() A bit of a downer. A British film from the BBC. I did not notice that criteria but we are almost half way through the month so I should leave them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1. Transformers Last Knight - I didn't expect this movie to be as good as it was. I had written off Transformers after the 2nd one but picked this one up in 4k on a crazy Amazon deal. If you have a decent sound system this one will give the subwoofer a work out, the audio/visuals are outstanding. Sure the plot isn't all that great but it is what it is. 2. Darkest Hour - Golden Globe Winner, fantastic movie! 3. First Man - I had not heard much about this movie but was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It's a family friendly movie that may help to get your children interested in some very cool history. I had no idea about the life of Neil Armstrong, I really didn't know much about him besides the obvious. This will tick off #17 in the alternate catagory. 4. Pet Semetary - I really enjoyed the remake! If you have a Dolby Atmos setup, the jump scares from this movie are going to get you haha. The dripping water in the basement creeped my son right out! 5. Joker - I wasn't expecting this movie to be as good as it was! It's controversial, but well worth a watch and the physical release is coming up. Last edited by Tenny80; 01-31-2020 at 10:21 AM. |
