With this movie not doing that great in the box office, what's the possibility Universal may end up cancelling the 4K Blu-ray & just release it on standard Blu-ray (and DVD) only?

I saw it coming. With the only preview I saw.

Dr. Doolittle seems to be a "no-no" for film success. First the bomb musical (some good songs by Bricusse/Newley) in the late 60s and then the Eddie Murphy travesties....Now Robert Downey Jr. adds to his less-than-stellar recreations of the Great Holmes with this piece of misconceived nonsense.

The Eddie Murphy Dr. Dolittle films were pretty big hits.

My kids are young and are excited to see this. I don't really pay too much attention to reviews for clean, family films these days. For instance, 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' had horrible reviews, but it is a great family movie for older kids (due to death being a main topic).

This will provide some laughs and a bit of adventure. It's nice to see something other than sorcery and princess movies for kids.
