2011 movies

is anyone else as amp'd as i am over the movies that have already been announced for 2011???

i keep a copy of my movie list on my computer @ work so i can update it as i buy movies, i also keep a section for theatrical release dates for movies as they are announced.

i was looking @ it this morning and noted the following:

The First Avenger: Captain America (7/22/11)
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 (7/15/11)
The Hobbit (Dec. 2011)
Spider Man 4 (5/6/11)
Thor (5/20/11) this has been bumped up
Transformers 3 (7/1/11)

Transformers hasn't been officially announced, Paramount wanted to stake a claim on the date. they have also bumped up the Thor release by a couple of weeks, see this confirmation here:

and if it follows the same release pattern as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, summer 2011 would be a good estimate of a potential Dark Knight sequel!!!

i know these aren't the artsy fartsy movies like Milk, Frost/Nixon, or Benjamin Button....but i personally have no interest in movies like that so please don't thread crap on the summer blockbuster movies that i and a lot of people enjoy.

Xmas 2011 is gonna be hell b/c i'm gonna end up spending just as much on others as i will on myself!!!

Well, Spider-man 4 has me totally stoked, I hope Raimi can fix his mistakes from number three (I do love it just has a few problems). Personally, I just want one villian in it, either the Lizard or Rhino (if Rourke is involved, he would make a perfect Rhino)

Anyways, 2011 is shaping nicely with plenty of big blockbusters that I'm excited for
