This film is not being released in 3D in the US or any other countries.
Birds of Prey was not converted by DNEG which has the current contract with Warner. Wonder Woman 1984 will be the next DC/Warner 3D Theatrical release. Closing thread.

Good news everyone(well kinda). My local cinema will have pre orders for tickets on the 29th and there is one 3d showing on the 6th of February. But that is literally the only one currently.

I don't believe it is getting a 3D release, not in the US or UK anyway...

Pretty sure it would be listed on DNeg’s site if this was going to have a 3D release: https://www.dneg.com/shows/?category_name=stereo

Pretty sure Hollywood doesn't do R-rated 3-D these days.

Might be an error. If not, I would go and see it if I were you, as this definitely won't make it to 3D Blu-ray.

I guess we'll find out one way or the other when it gets released...

The tickets will be available in 2 days so hopefully I'll see if it is actually happening. As for 3d Blu ray it could make it provided this isn't an error, it is a Wb release and all the DCEU films have been released in 3d thus far.

Update: The cinema website changed their listing and their is no more 3d showing. I called them and they said that the studio pulled the 3d print. But that means there is a print out there so maybe it will get released on Blu Ray. If anyone else knows of it showing in 3d anywhere please post.

I saw the preview on TV a few times on Sunday, and not once did I see the words 3D at the end. They just said "See it In Imax 3D" with the IMax logos and stuff. Not in 3D disappointingly.
