I think that's very true in respects to Tom Hanks. I believe his back to back wins have hurt him ever since. He's not been nominated much and hasn't won at all.

So good in Captain Phillips...that emotional breakdown at the end...punch to the gut.

And I hope the next film goes back to the roots and doesn't veer off like Crystal Skull.

It would be super sweet if we got HD versions of Young Indy at the same time. Pipe dream, I know...

So, PARAMOUNT are keen to release the first four films in a new 4K boxed set next year? OK, good.

Imo, only the first film is a genuine classic, and the rest are mediocre to dross in quality.

An individual 4K release for Raiders with the cut scenes would be good for me.

I hope I don't have to wait over a year for a standalone Raiders release like I did after the first Blu set was released. That's the only one I even want.

I skipped that BD release because of the colour grading.

I only own the original DVD release, so the 4K should be a big upgrade for me.

Absolutely no interest in the other films in the series.

That "source" of theirs still makes me wonder if they're feeding them a line of fanboi bullshit, there were a lot of assumptions in their Star Wars 4K "scoop" that - funnily enough - turned out to be nonsense and the bit here about there not being a combined set for all five Indy movies is strikingly similar. Paramount would just licence the fifth movie from Disnee to include in a boxed set, the Mouse have no problems letting DHWAV out to Fox for the non-US Die Hard boxsets.

Thank gosh Paramount is doing these instead of Disney, this way they'll probably be on UHD100 discs, won't be DNR'd, will probably have Dolby Vision, and won't have nerfed soundtracks.

Good to hear there digging out some more deleted scenes. I'd like to see them all along with any outtakes and the screen tests for Tom Sellack, Tim matheson, Short round, River phoenix etc.

Also more of the 16mm bhts.
