Necesito ayuda. Voy a Madrid a fines de marzo y quiero saber donde se puede comprar peliculas en dvd / blu ray. Un lugar donde puedo encontrar peliculas de Bunuel o algo diferente. Si especializan en la vente de peliculas esta mejor... ya vi lugares como FNAC pero pensando asi como un lugar que tiene peliculas de collecion / peliculas que ya no imprimen... gracias desde california, e.e.u.u. //// favor de disculpar mi espanol

I'd say you'd probably get more info if you ask over at mundodvd.com in their "ofertas / tiendas" section I live in Spain's northwest so I'm no help to you. I had planned on visiting some stores when I went to Madrid last year to renew my Aus passport but I ran out of time so I left empty-handed.

I haven't been there in almost 2 decades, but apart from FNAC/Corte Inglés big department stores, there used to be some record/dvd stores in or around la Plaza del Sol (kind of the center of Madrid square but it's round ) and the streets radiating from it like spokes (which have some of the big dpmt stores too). I think a store was called Madrid Rock if it still exists. In any case you can ask the locals for stores for coleccionistas / discos de coleccción / decatalogados (out of print). There's also el Rastro flea market on Sundays I think.

Back then the selection on stores was pretty awesome as that was the glory days of DVDs

Besides Amazon and Fnac, probably the most used sites to order stuff, MediaMarkt does sell physical media and last Black Friday they had huge deals on that. I do remember older movies being on sale then. I have no idea whether they do worldwide shipping, but it's worth checking out.
