Thanks for the answers Cliff! I had wondered if the commentary situation was as you explained it, that Rian wanted to do it, and you wanted to also include it. Very cool to hear that was pretty much the case!

Having just watched Brick for the umpteenth time, this time on blu with the commentary and extras I cannot wait for the extras. Don't let the cardboard crazies deter you, most of us on here love movies and everything that goes in to them.

I want to get Knives Out in 4K, but I can't deny how tempting this is.

For anyone who's not interested in getting the Target exclusive, there is a free PDF available of Hook, Line and Sinker.

Cliff, I cannot wait to see these special features.
Geoff is correct that we’ve all gotten so used to EPK studio promotional fluff being thrown on a disc that we’ve almost given up.
I don’t believe for a second collectors and fans don’t want proper features and documentaries. My hope is releases like the one you’ve just worked on are a sign of a comeback of sorts for quality special features.

I'm in a dilemma about getting this. Are there people who saw the film more than once and were entertained even after knowing what happens?

I watched Knives Out three times in theaters, and enjoyed it every time. Even if there weren't tons of details and gags happening in the background that are satisfying to notice on repeat viewings, the film is just a satisfying film to watch. Everything from the snappy, witty dialogue to the amazing camerawork, to the excellent directing and the incredible performances really makes Knives Out that I find repeat viewings valuable with.

Why wouldn't you still be entertained after knowing what happens?

Any confirmation as far as what the digital code redeems as? Lionsgate is severely inconsistent with that. I'm so tempted to buy it on iTunes right now for $20 so others can watch it on my account, but if the code redeems in iTunes, they can wait. Even though I'd love to watch it right now, too.

Thrice here, too. Such a damn fun movie! My favorite film of 2019.
