Post Integrated Amplifier vs A/V Receiver ???

I listen a vinyl record on turntable my Integrates Amplifier is sound crisper. I noticed the speaker bass is flexible and bass vibration.

My AV/ Receiver with an separate amplifier is sound clear and bass tighter. I noticed the speaker bass is tighter and bass little vibration.

I very interesting… Integrates Amplifier is best sound than AV/Receiver.

This true ??

I ordered 4 them only blu-ray. Those are shipped.

-TrondheimSolistene: Divertimenti
-Herbert von Karajan Memorial Concert
-Immortal Beloved
-Bach: Orchestral Suites No.1, 2 & 3 / Tripelkonzert

I want to listen my AV/receiver with an separate amplifier. if those are very good sound crisper.

Nice BD's Opi! I only have Immortal Beloved. I really should make the jump and order the others. But right now...money is tight!

Separate components (Pre/pros or preamps, phono preamps, amps, and separate tuners) will generally sound better than receivers and even integrated amps.

naturephoto, I agree with you but integrated amps is sound better than AVR/Receiver. My integrates amps is very old, brand company from H.H. Scott.

Opi,

As good as your old H.H. Scott integrated amp sounds, in all likelihood a really good preamp (or Pre/pro) and a separate amp possibly including your Outlaw will sound better.

It totally depends on the receiver and the amp - for sure there are several integrated amps that will best AVR's and vice versa, as we discussed not long ago in another thread.

Steve,

No doubt about it, as an example my really old Accuphase E202 integrated amp from the early to mid 1970s even today does and would sound excellent. At the time I purchased it, it was perhaps the best and best sounding integrated amp made and available. There are most definitely some expensive and high end integrated amps that sound exceptional.

Opips-There's an Arcam dealer here in Chicago that swears that their Integrated amps say the A38 sounds better than the AVR 600. He says receivers always f*cks it up! I have the AVR600 and its just phenomenal sonically! I also heard the Arcam A18 and A38 and they sounded great. unfortunately, I was not able to do an A-B on them as the AVR600 was not out then. I am however, planning on getting the A18 and a TT in the next few months. I should be able to do an AB on the A18 vs the AVR600. Cool?

Awesome! Arcam AVR600 is nice but it's price $3000.00 (Euro).

Thanks for information.
