I think this movie gonna suck, don't get me wrong I love Donnie Darko but they should leave it as a cult classic no remake.

Donnie Darko Writer/Director Richard Kelly has blasted this movie as unnecessary and has nothing to do with this sequel. I might rent it, but I agree it's totally pointless.

its a straight to blu release and there hasent been to many of good straight to blu releases, Resident Evil: Degeneration is an exception thou!

I hope this movie does great but most likely it's gonna fail.I'm glad there using the same girl in Donnie Darko for the main character in S.Darko.

As usual they are banking on people like me who will have to at least give this a rent being a HUGE darko fan. Doubt it will be any good though

He's only credited as a 'character writer' because he orignally came up with Samantha Darko's Character... he's had nothing to do with S. Darko - and has publicly slammed it already.

Correct, it's the same thing as James Cameron being credited as a writer for Terminator 3 and Salvation.
