Default Classic Titles on Blu

With the release of Casablanca and the upcoming Gone With the Wind and Wizard of Oz announcements, which classic movies would you hope to see?? I am a big Jimmy Cagney fan, so at the top of my list would be,

White Heat
Angels with Dirty Faces
Public Enemy
City For Conquest
Each Dawn I Die.

I know most of them are very very old but I am just hoping for a high quality upgrade on some of them as the standards just don't cut it. Also for the Brando category I would hope for The Wild One. What are some of your favorites you're hoping for?

I think that by releasing more of these classic films in hi-def it will appeal to younger audiences and maybe they will venture into watching B&W films. I'm 23 and have grown up watching the classics but I'm probably the only person I know who does, because everybody complains about the quality. I love the classic as they are, but i sure would prefer Cagney in HD.

That reminded me of The Wolfman, I forgot!

I wonder if they would possibly release this in the fall to coincide with the remake, like they did with Friday the 13th.

Yeah, definitely On the Waterfront.

Got to have To Kill a Mockingbird - my all-time favorite movie.

Tons of Jimmy Stewart movies, tons of Alfred Hitchcock movies (which somewhat overlaps with the previous statement), tons of Charlie Chaplin movies.

Easy question. Easy answer: ALL OF THEM!

By the way, since you love classics, too, be sure to pick up The Robe and Quo Vadis that just came out. They are terrific.
