With the release of Casablanca and the upcoming Gone With the Wind and Wizard of Oz announcements, which classic movies would you hope to see?? I am a big Jimmy Cagney fan, so at the top of my list would be,
White Heat Angels with Dirty Faces Public Enemy City For Conquest Each Dawn I Die. I know most of them are very very old but I am just hoping for a high quality upgrade on some of them as the standards just don't cut it. Also for the Brando category I would hope for The Wild One. What are some of your favorites you're hoping for? |

I think that by releasing more of these classic films in hi-def it will appeal to younger audiences and maybe they will venture into watching B&W films. I'm 23 and have grown up watching the classics but I'm probably the only person I know who does, because everybody complains about the quality. I love the classic as they are, but i sure would prefer Cagney in HD. |

Yeah, definitely On the Waterfront.
Got to have To Kill a Mockingbird - my all-time favorite movie. |

By the way, since you love classics, too, be sure to pick up The Robe and Quo Vadis that just came out. They are terrific. |
