I did NOT know that. I guess I'm stuck in the 1990s; just assumed theatrical movie ratings were for theatrical releases (Roma, The Irishman), and "only on Netflix" stuff got TV-style ratings (TV -MA and so forth.)

Oh God, I hope I haven't triggered a debate as to whether or not this should be Academy Awards eligible....

It’s a generic action film that has little to do with the source. I enjoyed it for what it was but why bother using Spencer as a source if you aren’t goi g to at least stay somewhat true to the source?
