In the US, its a New Line release and in the UK its an Optimum release, Germany its DFA/Senator. Different studios have the right to sell a certain title in a certain markets. Look at Beowulf during the format war, Its WB and was on BD way before Paramount dropped HDDVD and came back bluray. Thats why we import

I own the Optimum release and have watched the US release. The US is a high bitrate VC-1, with slightly better PQ than the very low bitrate AVC UK release. The US is also 7.1. So you can have more extras or better audio/video.
