Pre-Orders Shipping Early - Blu-ray Forum

I always pre-order all my movies through Amazon and I usually get my movies either the day of release or the day after. I have read a lot in the past of people receiving their pre-orders weeks ahead of schedule. I believe someone once told me you can get them early when you order through the actual company like Warner. Anyways I was just wondering if that is how you get your titles early. Because Warner has a sale for 20% off pre-orders with free site wide shipping and I pre-ordered True Romance for even less than Amazon by a couple bucks. Does anybody know if Warner typically releases their films early like I've heard about in the past?

Ive received them the Monday before the release from Columbia House and Amazon. Ive also received them the day of and the day after the release from the above 2 companies. Different every time.

My Amazon orders always come Wednesday or Thursday after release. The only time I ever got one early was from Warner Home Video, as it turns out.

Yeah that's what I wanted to know if Warner was one of the companies that ships early. I buy everything through amazon and always get them the day after they come out, but for a title like True Romance I want it ASAP so I ordered through Warner, and with free shipping I only paid $19 which is a fantastic deal

Same here. I've always gotten my movies release day +2.... I always select 2-Day shipping with Prime though.
