Arrow The World is Not Enough

Just snagged this from Best Buy, definitely worth the double dip. Stunning film so far, with a very nice audio track and a pretty slip cover for the case as well.

I'm waiting to get it as well. Not much love for this but I very much enjoy it and cannot wait to watch and hear it with the BD instead.

Exactly!!

LOL!!

I am really curious to see my copy cause as far as the DVD was concerned I found it a step down from TOMORROW NEVER DIES in both Video/Audio quality. I'm curious to see what the potential of this one on BD. I've a feeling the difference will be jarring!

Picking mine up along with Quantum later this week...whoo!

If you buy both of these, remember that Quantum has a $5 coupon in it for any older James Bond movie from MGM - so get Quantum, open it, pop back into the store, and get TWINE if you want it!

I'm not sure what the deal is with the Quantum coupon. I just bought the movie earlier today at Borders, and there was no coupon. People who picked it up at Best Buy have reported the same thing.

This was one of the most boring Bond films for me, and definitely fourth on Brosnan's list of Bonds for me.

The transfer is ok in my opinion. I'm suspecting it's just the way the source material was filmed but it's a relatively flat presentation. There's not alot of 3D pop to the picture. Moonraker actually has more pop to it than World. Very disappointing.

Hear hear.

I can never understand why the producers decided to reboot Bond after DIE ANOTHER DAY, when this film was far worse, IMHO. DIE ANOTHER DAY, as incredulous as some may claim, was never as boring, needlessly complex, and saddled with a terrible villain as this one. And I will never find fault with an invisible car in comparison to Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist. Repeat those last six words in your head.

If they wanted to do the reboot after WORLD, I would have been a lot more accepting of the notion than I am now.

In my book, Die Another Day is Brosnan's worst. Can't watch that movie anymore.

Tomorrow Never Dies was my Favorite of his 4. I liked the whole terry hatcher subplot and I liked the huge german henchman and Jonathan Price as the crazy villain.
