Value Electronics 2020 TV Shootout Updates

In respect for the COVID-19 Pandemic, CE Week and our 2020 TV Shootout have been cancelled. The Jacob Javits will used as a hospital to support New Yorkers in their time of need.

We are converting our a/v showroom into the 2020 TV Shootout for side-by-side evaluation of the premium new TVs and as the 2020 flagship TVs arrive we'll be mounting them on our store's TV Shootout wall.

We'll be monitoring the situation and make an announcement for 2020 TV Shootout dates at a later time. Stay safe and be sure to follow all precautionary measures to protect yourself, our families our communities.

We've discussed all of these ideas and if things don't get better by the end of the summer we may just have our panel of expert judges and top professional presenters and a few enthusiasts. Of course we'll be webcasting the event Worldwide.

We will put health and safety above all and our store can accommodate up to 25 people and keep the recommended 6' minimum distances. The judges will still be able to get close to the TVs, but one at a time.

We also discussed the idea of publishing pre and post calibration reports and our observations on how the flagship TVs compare to each other. Also once all of the TVs are wall mounted and calibrated we will invite visitors in small groups to see the TV Shootout wall in person.
