Octopussy. Easy. I get that Dr. No is iconic and it's the first, but I just think Octopussy might be the most underrated Bond film ever. Moore is terrific in it and it's perfectly suited to him. Dr. No is by far the Bond film I watch the least.

Sean Connery's smashing debut in the first James Bond adventure - debonair, ruthless ("That's a Smith & Wesson...and you've had your six"), full of sexual swagger and altogether magnetic. The birth of a new star and a new action hero. Some may consider this film dated, but I see it as resplendent with wonderful early '60s flavor, and you can almost feel that Jamaican heat in this unfussy, stripped-down 007 thriller...and is there a sexier and more iconic image in Bond history than the stunning Ursula Andress walking out of the water in that white bikini? A classic.

OCTOPUSSY has its charms, but this is no contest. DR. NO for me.

Dr. No is iconic, so an easy win here. Octopussy is very entertaining though.

Octopussy is my favorite Roger Moore Bond movie. Dr. No is mid-range Connery.

Tough one; they are both underrated for different reasons.

They both have some wonderful locations, primarily Jamaica and India. Dr. No probably has the better villain, complete with his own lair and henchmen. Ursula Andress is lovely. Octopussy has the overall better storyline; the nefarious plan conjured up by villains Orlov and Khan is cold, calculated and realistic within the setting up the film. The final palace raid dips into silliness, whereas Dr. No keeps its tone more consistent.

I'm casting my vote for Octopussy, primarily edging out the competition via its storyline, surprisingly great score (not composed by John Barry) and stunning cinematography. Octopussy have become a bit of a guilty pleasure watch for me lately.

Of course it was - and I know it is, I have segments of it on my smartphone.

Don't know how that screw up happened; my film score memory must have a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell.

This is a tough one for me because I highly rate both films.

But... I'm gonna go for Octopussy because it's my fave Roger Moore entry and Dr. No is my second fave Connery entry...

But this was a tough decision.

This should have been later in the semi-final....

Anyways as much as i like the first James Bond movie because it was the first i must say Octopussy wins easily, if not by counting its not with Zardoz main actor its probably because it has...octopussies??
