Rapidly blinking power light on my new Vizio TV

This happens on occasion when I am watching my fairly new Vizio LED TV.
The quick blinking of the power light only happens with watching the TV and does not affect viewing.
I hope the TV is not faulty, as Target is not doing any returns at the moment.
The TV was bought brand new in the box, and was not a return or floor model.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an internal circuit or power supply may be failing.

Try a full a/c recycle by unplugging the TV for a full 15 minutes and then reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet and see if that fixes the rapid blinking light.

Thanks I'll try that, seems strange for anything to be happening since this is a brand new TV.
