Oh I like that. Somehow I never owned this on dvd or blu-ray (have a digital copy). I think this time around I'll bite.

I wonder if they ever found and remastered the Cyndi Lauper music video ? I know there was talk when it came out on DVD there mention about they had part of it and a fan or someone else had another part of it. Is that still the case?

ugh, some announcement that WB cancelled Goonies 4k UHD?? some talk about how in covid era people love streaming????
hopefully it's just a major delay and not true cancellation
but supposedly they yanked all pre-orders and order pages for both steel and regular across all vendors, seems strange to go that far, arrrrrr, WB would truly suck if they decided to just cancel this for good

I didn't see a pre-order page on either Amazon nor Best Buy. Either its been yanked or it was never officially up for pre-order.

Never owned the goonies, great movie definitely worth owning and i've been tempted to buy the last couple steels of it but just didnt do it for one reason or another. This is the one i'm finally gonna go for though. good steel and 4k no complaints.

Well that would suck I just sold my Steelbook today.

I sometimes don't know but the value can be higher before the newer version comes out so I often get better prices...

For sure the prices you can command are higher before the re-release, but therein lies the risk.

It was up on Target, but the order page for it is now gone there.

I thought I had seen it for pre-order on BB but maybe not, not sure if was there and pulled or never there. So far, my Target pre-order is still and not refunded though....
