Chiefs 1983 mini-series on BD. (Charlton Heston)

Hi.

Just watched my japanese dvd, which I recently bought through Amazon.jp at a heavy price.

This is in dire need of a BD-treatment, because the material used for the dvd (and surely VHS) releases, are ...well, very bad.

Who owns the rights for this, and who would be able to make a BD release, and make a transfer in 1080p, I cannot find which doors to knock on, simply because I lack info.

Maybe I should just accept it will never happen, but would love an official released BD of this, but don't know if I am the only fan left of this series.

According to Wikipedia the distributors are CBS and Fremantle International...

If you're in the US CBS would be your best bet.
Fremantle is a British company so they probably own the UK distribution rights.
