Really wanted to like this one and did get to see it in the theater before the world shut down, but doubt I'll bother to watch it again. Leigh Whannell let me down for the first time here.

I thought this was a surprisingly great movie. Really tense, and well-made. Moss is excellent. And this is coming from someone who thought it looked really dumb from the trailers.

I agree. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It was the last movie I saw before the Coronavirus came and messed everything up. I'll always remember it for that.

I pre ordered from them May 1st which I think was before the promotion so didn't even get a code .

Wow! I and my husband just watched my 4K of The Invisible Man and this is a great movie. We were glued to the TV every second.

You should watch first. I was open to liking it, but if you think more than a few seconds about the things that happen in this movie, you'll realize it doesn't hold up except with the magic of movie logic. You may still enjoy it since it's not awful, but ultimately it just didn't work out for me.

I thought it was great!

Universal has been trying to reboot some of their old classic monster/horror movies [The Mummy, Dracula Untold], this is the best so far and in my opinion knocked it out of the park.

In all seriousness though, thanks for the reply. I'll rent it first and check it out. Since the movie is new, the rental price is still kind of high at $6, so I'll wait until it goes down and check it out.

I think it is worth a blind buy. I went into the theaters expecting nothing and came out pleasantly surprised.

I loved it! $30 well spent. Really enjoyed the music score. Very erie and ominous.

I'll give it a "Hell yeah!" I saw it in theater, in a group of five, and we all enjoyed it a lot. Elizabeth Moss gives a great performance. Sympathetic, nuanced, and believable. The supporting cast is very good. It's got twists and turns. Lots of tension. It's a good-looking movie, made on a budget of only $7mm! I honestly don't recall anything cheesy or eye-rolling. I'll definitely be buying the UHD!

Thanks. I'll wait until either the rental prices decreases to a few bucks or the purchase price is $10, whichever comes first. Usually the latter comes first, which is why I tend to blind buy a lot. I mean, why pay $6.99 to rent when I can buy it for a few bucks more?

Yes easily. Really well done with a really good performance from Moss. It’s a very well done new take on the Invisible Man. I also blind bought it & had absolutely no regrets.
