Nope, it shows up as DTS-HD MA on mine (using the PS3).

remember seeing on the IGN review that they said there was too much bass. To me there wasn't that much. IMO

Yes, it plays back in DTS-HD MA 5.1 on my PS3 as well.

Personally, I felt the mix was actually somewhat low as far as bass is concerned. I punched up the subwoofer output by two notches to compensate.

The PQ blew me away.

You are right. IGN's reviews sometimes are way off. I agreed with the reviews from this site, High Def Digest, and Ralph Potts on the AVS forum. The bass was not that high. I told the IGN reviewer to check there audio equipment.

Yes you are correct. I'm from holland and our version is dts-hr. Sold my copy and bought the U.S. one. This one is dts-ma. There are more movies in Europe
with the same difference. I shall name a few.
X-men trilogy dts-hr, U.K. and U.S. dts-ma
National treasure pcm 16 bit, U.S. pcm 24 bit
National treasure 2 true hd 16 bit, U.S. true hd 24 bit
Pirates of the caribbean first 3 pcm 16 bit U.S. pcm 24 bit
That's why most of the time I buy my movies in the U.S. or U.K.

Typically, U.S. made films will get the best releases in the U.S., but there are certainly some exceptions. Check the Superior International BDs thread in my signature if you're curious.
