Default Help with a title I'm sure isn't on Blu-Ray

Hi all,

so I watched a movie many, many years ago about a group of kids that go on some mission to rescue I think one of their fathers trapped by some baddies in the jungle. I recall quite liking it but I have no idea what year it was made or the title. I do remember it being PG and fairly kid friendly. Anyone know what movie this is? I'd love to rediscover it in HD!!!

The Rescue is probably the movie you are talking about. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095981/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_6

A group of kids venture into enemy territory in an ambitious attempt to rescue their Navy Seal fathers who were captured during a failed mission in North Korea.

Then there is Iron Eagle. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091278/

Storyline
When Doug's father, an Air Force Pilot, is shot down by MiGs belonging to a radical Middle Eastern state, no one seems able to get him out. Doug finds Chappy, an Air Force Colonel who is intrigued by the idea of sending in two fighters piloted by himself and Doug to rescue Doug's father after bombing the MiG base. Their only problems: Borrowing two fighters, getting them from California to the Mediteranean without anyone noticing, and Doug's inability to hit anything unless he has music playing. Then come the minor problems of the state's air defenses.

BOOM! That's the movie! The Rescue. Thanks so much.
