I've just bought a small 6 inch piece of wood from one of the cabins from Evil Dead 2 w/ COA. Love the film and ideally i'd like to frame it with a lobby card or poster. Any ideas how I go about it? Are there specialist frame companies for this type of thing?
So as not to make this all about me feel free to post photos of how you display your props. |

Not sure if this helps, but I worked on Little Shop of Horrors & got an Audrey 2 from the rubbish bin when production was over. It was never seen in the film, just used for lighting & set up & then the puppet would be brought in.
What I did was get an 11 x 14 from the lobby card set & had that as the back of a shadow box & then placed the "plant" in front. I used my local Michael's store to do it, they were quite reasonable on the price, not sure where you are I am in Canada & Michael's are an art craft type store & do framing. It does look kind of cool. Sorry my home is packed up & I am not sure how to post images here anyway! But a Shadow box would look kind of "groovy" to quote the Evil Dead. Enjoy your collectible.
