Awesome original artwork. Never bought from overseas so can’t wait.

No alternative artwork or special features and probably not even a menu screen either.

Nice.

I'm old enough to have seen this when it came out in 1982 and it's in my Top 10 movies of all time. So naturally I've already got the US version but it'll be nice to have a R4 copy now.

Maybe this release has a proper 5.1 mix.

Movie never needed a 5.1 mix anyway, so the SF release is still tops with a more than solid 2.0 track.

The link provided at the top of the page states: “2.0 DTS-HD MA”.

I'll pick it up if there is a subtitle track. Hate releases without them.

It does according to the entry here. Seems like Umbrella finally took note of the number of complaints about the lack of them.

The vengeful videophile with Leslie Nielsen, and the monster in the crate with Adrienne Barbeau, sublime as a booze-fueled termagant, are easily the two best stories in the anthology. If I get this release, I'll be getting it only for those.

The Crate is my personal favourite. A very terrifying beast at its centre - and the longest tale, too. I could happily watch a two-hour version of this particular segment. Probably not enough material to stretch it out to that length though.

Something to Tide You Over is also a favourite. Leslie Nielsen is excellent. I pretty much like all the tales. The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill being the weakest.

This film has a really nasty mean streak running through it. Love it. Excellent cast too.

Any word if this is using the new remaster or the old Warner scan?
Thanks

It’s an old scan, I haven’t seen the old Warner disc but it’s definitely not the new Shout remaster. There’s DNR. And Telecine wobble. And other print damage. Very rough. The audio is also very unimpressive.

It's always had reversible artwork, my copy from last year certainly has it
